Classic British Motorcycles and Parts for Sale

Below are new pictures showing the current condition of the 1967 Manufactured A65 Firebird. There is one additional box which is not shown that contains all the small parts and hardware.Engine was removed from engine and barrel removed to determine that the crank plain bearing had "spun" - but the barrels, valves and pistons are perfect. Smith guages are good, but the original bracket is missing. -CLICK ON ANY PICTURE TO SEE LARGER VERSION- The correct BSA Firebird/Hornet tank is included, shown below. I bought it at a classic motorcycle flea market, some dope put a Triumph decal on it. It looks like it has never been painted or installed on a cycle. Engine box - the Rockers, Pushrods, Manifold, Ignition parts, hardware, etc. are in a separate box. The engine is complete in parts.

1967 BSA A65 Firebird - 95% complete parts there, spun sintered bearing on crank (typical for BSA's), engine is out of frame with barrel off to make sure the top end was unharmed. Bought at an auction with the intent to "make it right". A movie studio put a later Firebird tank on and painted Black/White to look like a cop bike in movies. It even had those police side boxes and a Harley fairing on it when I bought it. Reputed to be one of the phony Harley police bikes in the movie Dirty Harry. Missing the original guage bracket. Everything else is original; 1967 mfg date, first sold in 1968 Have an
original 67 BSA Firebird
/ Hornet "pill” shaped
tank unpainted, which some idiot put Triumph decals on it. It is
included. I have CA Bill of Sale. Classic British Motorcycle - |
